How does Microneedling work?

The needles create tiny micro-channels on the surface of the skin. These micro-channels stimulate a healing response in the skin, promoting the production of collagen and elastin. Having more collagen and elastin causes the skin to become firmer and gradually reduces acne scars over time.

The Dr. Pen A7 can be used multi-directionally for microneedling treatments on the face, neck, or other body areas.

What are the benefits?

Microneedling can effectively reduce acne scarring.

Important: Microneedling/Nano-needling cartridges must be sterilized before each use to ensure safe and hygienic treatment. Follow these steps to sterilize your cartridges:

1. Ensure you have all necessary equipment for sterilization; gloves, isopropyl alcohol solution (70% or above), and a clean container to hold the solution.
2. Put on gloves to avoid contaminating the cartridges during sterilization.
3. Check the cartridge; ensure the needles are in perfect condition and remove any debris.
4. Pour enough alcohol solution into the container and dip the cartridge needle into it, then soak for a couple of minutes.
5. If you have an alcohol solution spray, you can spray it towards the needle head of the cartridge.
6. Allow the cartridge to air dry before using it.
7. Your cartridge is ready for use.

How to Use

1. Comprehensive instructions are available on our website under our FAQS section.
2. To ensure no cross-contamination, sterilize cartridges before treatment.
3. Double-cleanse (cleanse and repeat) then wipe the skin clean. Tie back your hair, away from your face.
4. Work in small areas and apply Femvy Hyaluronic Acid serum to each area before needling.
5. Safely dispose of cartridges after every use.

• On open wounds.
• On acne or irritated skin.
• If irritation occurs.
• One cartridge more than once.
